28-09-14                                   BLEWBURY  1  v  CUMNOR MINORS  11

After two great wins to start the season Cumnor were looking to carry on their winning streak with a away trip to unknown territory in very sunny Blewbury.

Cumnor started the game very strongly and it wasn't long before they broke the deadlock when HARRY ran through on goal and calmly slotted the ball home, two minutes later DOM finished off some nice build up play to fire home from the edge of the area and Cumnor were in total control of the game when HARRY muscled his way through to make it three and then COOKIE fired in from close range after a great run and cross from JAMIE for the fourth, Cumnor were in  control but still needed to concentrate as Blewbury were looking to catch them on the break, but Cumnor were looking to still build on their lead with  DOM,RONAN and JAMIE going close,HARRY then got his hatrick and and Cumnors fifth when a lovely ball over the top from GEORGE M (who was having a great game)found HARRY and again he finished the job,DOM slotted in Cumnors sixth and as the halftime whistle blew the Cumnor boys walk off for a well deserved drink/rest.

One of the management decided enough was enough and left the game at halftime!!!obviously 6-0 up wasn't good enough for him!!!! (Anyway well played GEORGE D for his first half performance)

Cumnor made some changes to personnel in the second half but still looked very much the better side BUT were caught when Blewbury scored a terrific goal shooting from the edge of the area and into the top corner of the net, Cumnor responded quickly when a shot from JAMIE from the edge of the area was parried and DOM followed in the rebound for his hatrick, two minutes later he got his forth when a shot from just inside the box went in off the post and Cumnor were not finished after a flying bicycle kick from HARRY that just went wide he fired in his fourth and Cumnors ninth when his shot from 30 yards flew into the net, with MATT and RONAN working tirelessly in midfield and both SCOTT,MEHMET and JOHN looking solid at the back with ADAM making a great save to keep Blewbury at bay and it was CAM who made it double figures with his shot from the edge of the area found the net and TOM rounded off a great win for the boys with a angled finish for Cumnors eleventh goal of the game.FT.1-11

Another terrific performance from the boys A BIG WELL DONE TO THEM ALL........bring on the Crowmarsh!!!!!

Man of the Match :- GEORGE M   A terrific all round game

LETS KEEP IT GOING LADS
