09-11-14                                     KIDLINGTON   0  v   CUMNOR MINORS  11

After a three week break Cumnor were hoping to keep their successful start to the season going with  another trip to the unknown away at Kidlington.

Having thought Cumnor would only have 11 players available it was a bonus when both Mehmet and Will turned up to play.
Cumnor started with a positive line -up and were totally dominating the early period of the half and took the lead when a corner from HARRY was turned in to net by a Kidlington player, five minutes later it was two when HARRY curled a 30 yard free-kick into the top corner of the net, Cumnor continued pushing forward and hit the woodwork twice, it was DOM who then made it three when finishing calmly past the keeper after a great through ball from RONAN and then it was four when HARRY went through and rounded the keeper to finish with ease, DOM then headed in to make it five and although Kidlington were still trying hard to break the Cumnor defence down it was looking solid with CAM,JOHN,GEORGE M and MEHMET all looking to play some balls through to the forwards this resulting in the next goal when MEHMET played in HARRY for his hatrick and Cumnors sixth ......HT 0-6.
Cumnor made a couple of changes for the start of the second half but continued their onslaught when HARRY hammered in the 7th after just one minute of the half, DOM had his hatrick when turning in a RONAN corner, it was then 9 when a great team build up was finished off by HARRY, the management then decided to swap things around a bit.....BUT that didn't stop Cumnor still trying to add to their tally and DOMS long shot from 35 yards somehow found the back of the net!!with 5 minutes left WILL weaved his way into the box and finished superbly in the corner of the net..FT 0-11.

What a terrific result the boys kept going throughout and the confidence in the whole squad of players is evident to see, lets keep it going..... WELL DONE BOYS.

Man of the Match:- HARRY with 5 well taken goals

Special Mentions to JAMIE who had a terrific game and RONAN who worked tirelessly in the midfield and ADAM for keeping a clean sheet and his concentration.
